Oak - Red - No Sap - (Ultra Rustic Grade)
Wood: Oak - Red - No Sap
Grade: Ultra Rustic

Weight: 2.579 Lb/Sq. Ft (Based on 3/4″ thickness)

Door Dimensions of Wood Species Pictured: 12” W x 18” H

This grade is everything that our Rustic grade is and more. Heartwood color variations are allowed, however, no sap is allowed on the face of the product. The sap which might appear in profiled areas is allowed in small amounts. All material will be structurally sound.

In an effort to utilize as many natural characteristics as possible and to improve yield, some knots may have voids and some “Canyon Knots” may be partially filled, but no visible light will show through.

Knots are a characteristic of Rustic Grade, however, they are difficult to include on moldings less than 1 ½” wide because they substantially weaken the molding. When molding is less than 1 ½” wide, WalzCraft will try to maintain a Rustic Grade look without the use of knots.

Note: All Wood Species Samples are shown with a Natural / Clear Coat (No Stain) Finish and will look different when ordered unfinished.

Disclaimer for Color

Actual product color and detail may vary due to individual computer preferences and monitor settings. We highly recommend ordering an actual product sample of the species and stain color to eliminate any confusion. Please contact our Customer Support Team to place your order.

Special Note About Photosensitive Darkening

Due to the natural photosensitive darkening process that occurs with Cherry, Lyptus, Mahogany and Sapele, we advise that you finish these products immediately upon receiving.

If a color variation transpires, simply exposing the product to direct natural sunlight will help to result in a more even shading. Traces of shadowing (darkening) may be visible, and considered acceptable, on the back sides of product.

Walnut Straight Grain - Architectural Grade - Reconstituted Veneer
Wood: Walnut - Straight Grain
Grade: Reconstituted Veneer

TOP HALF - UNFINISHED

BOTTOM HALF - NATURAL / CLEAR COAT (NO STAIN)

Door Dimensions of Wood Species Pictured: 12” W x 18” H

Architectural Grade / Reconstituted / Composite Veneer is a wood veneer produced using a fast-growing tropical wood species, often times Obeche, along with Poplar, as well. The veneers are dyed and laid up to ‟mimic” the look of a particular species. The veneer sheets are made by laminating a block of veneer leaves together. The block is then sliced so that the edges of the laminated leaves become the “grain” of the composite veneer.

This veneer is relatively defect-free and has outstanding color and grain consistency from sheet to sheet.

This product is intended for a more contemporary look. If consistency in grain or color is important for individual doors and/or drawer fronts that will be installed directly above or below one another, we highly recommend utilizing WalzCraft’s Continuous Grain Option.

This Wood Species is most suitable for Natural/Clear Coat (no stain) and light stain colors.
